Refreshing Watermelon Lemonade Recipe
This watermelon lemonade recipe is really good!
I was surprised at how refreshing it tasted; Plus it’s not overly sweet or tart.
I don’t know why more places don’t sell watermelon lemonade, because it is lovely on a hot summer’s day.
Serves about 6-8
Watermelon Lemonade
Enjoy a refreshing watermelon lemonade on a warm summer's day!
Equipment
- blender
- knife to cut up watermelon
- Pitcher to serve lemonade from
Ingredients
- 4 cups Seedless Watermelon cubed
- Ice
- 3/4 cup Lemon Juice
- 2/3 cup White Sugar
Instructions
- Cube the watermelon measuring out 4 cups of cubed watermelon.
- Put the cubed watermelon into the blender.
- Puree the watermelon in the blender
- You may have to puree in 2 steps if all the watermelon does not fit into your blender.
- Put ice in the pitcher.
- Pour the puree into the pitcher.
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Add the lemon juice and sugar to the puree and mix with a large spoon.
- Serve over ice in a pretty glass with a sprig of mint or a piece of watermelon on the side of the glass.
