Sparkling Elderflower Spritz Recipe
This elderflower spritz is lovely on a warm summer day!
I was surprised at how nice it tasted.
It is just the right amount of sweet, floral, and citrus with bubbles for excitement.

Elderflower Spritz
Refreshing cool drink on a warm summer's day using prosecco and elderflower liquor.
Equipment
- a pretty glass
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Elderflower Liquor
- 4 oz Prosecco
- 2 oz Sparkling Water such as pelligrino, lime flavored seltzer, club soda, or substitute regular water in a pinch
- Ice
- Herb: Sprig of rosemary or fresh basil or lime slice or sliced strawberries or rasberries
- squeeze of lemon or lime juice is optional
Instructions
- If you are using basil, crush it a bit and put in in the glass first.
- Add ice to the glass.
- Add the elderflower liquor.
- Add the sparking soda water (and optional squeeze of lime / lemon juice).
- Fill the rest of the glass with prosecco.
- You can add a sprig of rosemary or a slice of lime to serve or rasberries or strawberries.
